Every Bare Sierra show is a small-town Ontario campfire, and everyone’s invited.

Bare Sierra is a roots-rock duo comprised of singer/songwriters and childhood friends John Muirhead and Jesse Bydevaate. Having played together since the age of fourteen, the duo has developed their own brand of soulful acoustic songwriting characterized by introspective lyricism and upbeat sing-along choruses. Their City and Colour-meets-Kings of Leon sound will have you stomping your feet, singing along, and bringing your friends around to the next show.

In 2017, Bare Sierra embarked on their “Northern Lights Tour”, which took them from Toronto to Thunder Bay and back over the course of two weeks. The highlight of the tour included a performance at Summerfolk Music and Craft Festival (where they were selected as part of the “Youth Discoveries” program)

In 2018, Bare Sierra plans to release their first EP and continue to tour the province.
